Jack O Lantern Pastry Tarts

Ingredients
1 package (2 pie crusts) Pre-Rolled Pie Crusts
1 cup Wholesome Pantry Pumpkin Puree
1/4 cup Wholesome Pantry Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Bowl & Basket Cream Cheese, softened
2 tsp Bowl & Basket Pumpkin Spice
1 Egg, slightly beaten
Few tbsp water
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cream cheese and pumpkin spice until smooth.
- Set aside.
- Use a round cookie cutter to cut out circles from the pie crust.
- Use one circle as the bottom of the pastry tart.
- On the other pie circle, use a knife to carefully cut out a Jack O Lantern face.
- Place plain pie circles on the cookie sheet, spread a tbsp or 2 of pumpkin mixture in the center of the pie circles, then top with the jack-o-lantern pie circles.
- Use a fork to crimp the edges to finish your pastry tarts.
- Whisk together the egg and a few tbsp of water to make an egg wash.
- Brush over your pastries before putting in the oven and baking for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
